The Bruma series luminaires, like ice crystals, play and shimmer with flashes of light. Inspired by the distinctive pattern of snowflakes, the relief reflects flecks of light across the entire surface of the glass. Thanks to a special technique of dyeing the glass throughout, a deep colour and a soft gradient are achieved, ranging from milky white to transparent or from smoky black to transparent. The Bruma series fills the atmosphere with enchanting magic.
The series’ pendant luminaires are available in two designs: a glossy chrome metal frame with a white glass shade featuring a smooth surface and an embossed pattern on the inside; and a black metal frame with an anti-glare coating and a black glass shade with an embossed pattern on the outside. The built-in LED light source (warm white light, 3000K) has two directions: a strip, concealed by an acrylic diffuser in the ‘heart’ of the shade, provides diffused light; whilst the LED source in the lower part of the shade creates lighting directed towards the surface. The series features three spherical shade designs: white ones with a larger diameter and black ones with a smaller diameter.
The play of light, the glare on the textured facets and the gradient colouring embody the beauty of snow-flecked skies on winter days and evenings. The Bruma series pendant luminaires will complement most contemporary interiors, both as a single accent piece and when combined with one another. The contrast of colours, shapes and textures creates scope for a multitude of combinations.
