Here you will find a selection of 12V and 24V LED strips for indoor and project lighting. These LED strips are suitable for kitchen worktops, furniture, shelves, stairs, aluminium profiles and decorative lighting.
When choosing an LED strip, pay attention to voltage, power, light output, color temperature and IP rating. 12V and 24V LED strips require a suitable LED power supply, and for a professional result we recommend installing them in an aluminium profile.
How to choose a 12V or 24V LED strip?
12V and 24V LED strips are low-voltage lighting solutions used for furniture, kitchen worktops, shelves, stairs, niches, profiles and decorative lighting. They are not connected directly to 230V mains power and require a suitable LED power supply.
12V or 24V?
12V LED strips are suitable for shorter runs and smaller lighting solutions. 24V LED strips are usually the better choice for longer runs and project lighting, because voltage drop is lower and the light output remains more even.
What should you check?
Installation with aluminium profile
We recommend installing LED strips in aluminium profiles. The profile helps dissipate heat, protects the strip from dirt and mechanical damage, and gives the installation a clean finished look.
Choosing the power supply
The power supply must match the LED strip voltage and total power. Calculate the total strip length, multiply it by the W/m value and leave some power reserve. If dimming or control is required, choose a suitable controller or dimmer.
