Established in 2008 with Estonian capital, LED House OÜ started by selling energy-efficient LED bulbs, fixtures, and strips, but has since evolved into offering comprehensive solutions. This means that in addition to products, installation, technical calculations, and consultations are also provided. The company's client base consists of businesses - electrical and construction companies, architectural firms, as well as more discerning private clients. Along with technological advancements, the product range and capabilities have also expanded. Martin Vabul, the CEO of LED House, emphasizes the company's preference for providing functional and cost-effective solutions to its clients. "Our fixtures are stylish and contemporary in design, but we don't offer chandeliers or overly expensive designer lights. We are competent advisors in technical matters, and if we can support the creative flow of interior designers, it brings joy and benefits to many. I dare to say that our warehouse offers the best selection of aluminum profiles in Estonia and clearly distinguished top-quality LED strips on the market, which can inspire every client."
In February of this year, a unique Hektor Container Hotel opened in Tallinn, near the creative city of Telliskivi and the Baltic Station. The hotel is located in a Tsarist-era locomotive repair depot, and the hotel rooms are reimagined shipping containers. The interior design of the container hotel was created by UDDU interior architect Taavi Aunre, whose idea was to create special lighting for the hotel's masculine and urban style, adding coziness to the industrial building.
"With the help of the LED House team, we arrived at a lighting solution that imitates daylight temperature. In the container hall, simulating the hotel park, there is general lighting that changes its intensity and temperature, similar to sunlight. In the morning, with the sunrise, the lighting 'wakes up.' Initially, the light temperature is cold, and then it becomes warmer until sunset. At night, it's dark between the containers, with only a few wall lights illuminating the passages, so that the hotel guest can find their room."
Taavi Aunre has a long-standing collaboration with LED House: "I'm familiar with their product range and always receive accurate information about the suitability of the products. Even now, LED House helped us select the appropriate fixtures for this special solution, as well as conducted lighting intensity calculations and suggested necessary accessories."
In April of this year, sign maker Volume Design moved to RaeTehnopark. The new 3750m2 production and office building required various lighting solutions due to its different functional areas.
Chairman of the board Lauri Filipjev aimed to ensure light in both representative and working spaces, which would be comfortable for the eyes both at the workstation and throughout the premises. Lighting intensity calculations were made for all parts, showing the result of the lighting solution before installation. "Construction Engineer OÜ was the coordinator on their part, with whom we discussed all the additional details and together chose the necessary fixtures and accessories," recalls Martin Vabul. "For the office, we also proposed and built desk lamps ourselves, which the employee can adjust according to their preference: choose between warm or cool light and adjust the light intensity."
At the end of next year, LED House plans to move to a new building, which will accommodate both a sales showroom and a training room, where both current and future partners are welcome, as well as more discerning private clients looking for better lighting solutions for their homes. The online store is always available, from which you can order items already in stock and receive them the next day.
